About the event
Join Mardith Schuetz-Miller, who holds degrees in anthropology and history from the University of Missouri, Columbia (BA), Trinity University, San Antonio (MA), and the University of Texas, Austin (Ph.D), as she clears up common misconceptions pertaining to the construction of the world's great monuments.
She has held positions as a petroleum draftsman, museum curator, field archaeologist, and ethnohistorian. She taught at Trinity University, San Antonio College, and the University of Arizona, but has worked for years as an independent scholar, which she now will graciously share with us.
Her published works include numerous articles, monographs, and books covering archaeology, Spanish Colonial history, art and architectural history, including contributor to the Encyclopedia of the North American Colonies.
